Independent, unofficial, and honest about it.
dMAT.practice is not an official training document. It is an independent study aid created by NinjaMinds Software Solutions. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to g.a.s.t. (the Society for Academic Study Preparation and Test Development, which develops and administers the dMAT), APS India or the Akademische Prüfstelle, the German Embassy or its consulates, the DAAD, or any German university or public authority.
Names and marks
“dMAT”, “Digital Master Test”, “APS”, “g.a.s.t.” and the names of universities and institutions are the names or marks of their respective owners. They appear here only to identify the examination this material helps you prepare for. No ownership of, or licence to, any of them is claimed or implied.
What this material is
- Practice papers and modules designed with the published structure of the dMAT and its official sample tasks in mind — figure sequences, mathematical equations, Latin squares and academic source packs. Nothing is copied from the dMAT or from g.a.s.t.’s materials.
- Original practice material. It does not contain, and does not claim to contain, questions from any live or past sitting of the dMAT.
- A learning tool. The proportions, timing and difficulty of our papers are our own design choices and may differ from the live test. Where official information and this site differ, the official information prevails — always check the organisers’ current guidance before you register or sit.
No guarantee of results
Preparation improves readiness; it does not decide outcomes. Nothing on this site promises or implies a particular score, an APS certificate, admission to any programme, a scholarship, or a visa. Those decisions rest entirely with the relevant test organisers, universities and authorities.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep every item and answer correct, and we withhold items that are under review rather than publish them. We do not guarantee that the material is 100% correct; errors can still occur. Use the worked notes as one input to your own reasoning, not as a substitute for it.
Not advice
Nothing here is legal, immigration, visa, financial or academic-admission advice. For any question about your APS process, your eligibility or your application, rely on the official bodies concerned.
